Pros 1. Umu, who was working the front desk is fantastic at her job. Great communication and helped us out when we forgot something in our room. 2. Location is convenient and an easy walk to Kaiser Hospital if you are a travel nurse. 3. Building was clean and the pool looked inviting, just too cold to swim. Cons 1. Walls are a little thin so if you’re not a heavy sleeper purchase some earplugs. 2. Wall heater/ac was older and on the louder side. Again earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. 3. No in room microwave. All in all a good option for long term stays, around $2k per month.

The hotel is quiet, peaceful, convenient, and affordable. But the bulk of this review is for the service. Management & staff were so friendly & impeccable. From cleaning ladies to maintenance. The manager James really helped solidify my decision in staying here many more times I visit the Bay Area. He is definitely a great rep for the business!

This is a good basic hotel that is renovated and clean. Daily room cleaning can be spotty, but I did get fresh towels everyday. The beds are comfortable enough for me but picky sleepers may want to upgrade elsewhere. If you are near the outside entrance doors, you are going to hear the doors closing and latching. This is a convenient location by 101 in Redwood City. There's an IHOP next door that offers a 10% discount to hotel guests. I've stayed here before and will again.

Hi, I have stayed numerous times for a week at a time at Good Night Inn Redwood City. My experience has been wonderful, prices are great best sleep ever room is quiet and dark, but most of all, and unfortunately unique to our industry is the service that I continually receive from the front desk Team and in particularly the general manager, James Fitzgerald. His professionalism, courtesy and kind demeanor will have me continually coming back to stay with you. Always a great experience and nothing but great things to say. Keep up the good work!

The hotel surpassed all my expectation's. The staff, especially James was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment I checked in. The room was quiet, clean, and the view of the bay was exceptional. I have stayed here on and off over the past four months for work and this was by far the best experience I have had locally I will certainly be recommending this hotel to my colleagues

RENEE !!!! Awesome Ty ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I travel all over this country and I’ve stayed in more hotels than I can count. Energy matters when you walk through those doors, especially after a long exhausting day, and Renée completely changed the tone of my entire night the second I stepped up to the desk. Professional, calm, confident, welcoming, the kind of presence you cannot train into someone. You can teach a person how to check a guest in but you cannot teach the kind of personality and heart she brings to that lobby. She made me feel respected, taken care of, and genuinely welcomed instead of processed like a transaction. In a world where customer service feels rushed and robotic, Renée stands out in a major way. She is absolutely this hotel’s greatest asset and that is not an exaggeration. There are employees and then there are people who elevate a place simply by the way they carry themselves and treat others. Renée elevates this hotel. After a long stressful day she was the absolute savior of my night and I mean that. Management, if you are reading this, recognize what you have in her because people like that are rare. Five stars all day.

This place really exceeded my expectations from the price point, the cleanliness of the room, and the top notch customer service provided. The team really went above and beyond and let me keep my luggage there after check out so I wouldn’t have to drag it to work. I offered to tip and they REFUSED because that’s just the standard level of service they give to all customers. I’ll be sure to recommend to my friends and coworkers that this is a great hidden gem. 100/100 Thanks again!

100/10. Exceptional room service and customer service that went above and beyond. I had a pleasant stay with such friendly welcoming staff and awesome manager that made sure my stay here was safe and quiet! Rooms are clean and affordable ;)
